Rockdoor - The Original Composite Door

In 1996 a small dedicated team sat down in our Lancashire workshop and modelled the dream – to create a range of made to measure composite doors that would protect families around the UK from becoming victims of burglaries, whilst also offering a thermally efficient and stylish entrance door.

Rockdoor has been at the forefront of the composite door market since that first meeting all those years ago. Since then, we have manufactured over half a million doors, meaning we’re protecting over half a million families from break-ins throughout the UK.

What is a composite door?

‘Composite door’ is such as well-known phrase that it is now often used to describe entrance doors, but did you know that a composite door is actually a door which is made from a mixture of materials, and at Rockdoor – we only use the best!

Rather than using timber which often swells and bows we use a high density core which is 60% stronger than standard composite doors in all of our front doors, back doors, french doors and stable doors. With extras such as steel mesh available to make the door 4 times stronger, you really wouldn’t be able to find a stronger composite door than a Rockdoor, after all, it’s a product that we’ve been perfecting for over 20 years!
